7 days to go... submit your Peer Review Paper
FIG Working Week 2020 11-14 may, Amsterdam
Deadline for the submission of abstract and full paper for peer review papers is 1 October 2019.
The peer review is intended mainly for academics, and these papers will go through an extended double-blinded peer review process. At least two reviewers will review your paper and you will be requested to amend your paper accordingly. At the second review the reviewers make the final decision on the paper. If a paper does not pass it will still be possible to submit the paper as a non-peer review paper.
Two different prizes are announced to successful peer review papers:
- Survey Review Prize
- NavXperience Award
Are you a practicioner, or is the peer review process not applicable for you, there is still time... Abstract submission of normal papers is 1 November (with full paper due by 7 February 2020). The abstracts for normal papers will be reviewed by the ten FIG commission chairs, and you will be notified in December of acceptance.
FIG Working Week is an exciting week-long conference that brings the international community of surveying and spatial professionals together to experience a mix of interesting technical sessions and workshops, a trade exhibition and a variety of side events and social functions.
